We stayed at Ngulia Safari Camp aka Ngulia Bandas aka Rhino Valley Lodge. The Ngulia area is in the north-east of the park and a little way from the most visited area in the north-west. The bandas (which effectively means "cottage/hut/bothy style accommodation" in local terms, and can range from a tin shack without windows to the ultimate in eco-luxury) are beautifully located on the side of a hill/escarpment and are very reasonably priced by Kenyan standards. The grounds are pleasant and that's what we're looking at here, with a ramp down to the banda we stayed in (on the left). A little run down and managed fairly haphazardly, it's still a nice place and rarely crowded since the constant name changes mean they have very few bookings! In any case capacity is only around 25 people.
